Academic Information
The M.S. in Information Technology program consists of 12 courses (held on Saturdays at the Evanston campus) and takes two academic years to complete. Each academic year contains three 10-week quarters, beginning in September and ending in June. A cohort model is used where all incoming students begin the program in September and take two courses together each quarter.

A five-member board of directors, made up of faculty from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management plus the program's associate director, governs the program—monitoring and guiding curriculum and services. An industry advisory board and alumni advisory board also give valuable direction to the curriculum, allowing us to stay current and relevant in today's IT marketplace.
