Recent Events
Homecoming, October 24, 2009
On October 24, 2009, the MSIT welcomed members of all twelve graduating classes for Homecoming. Twenty-two MSIT alumni and family members enjoyed a tailgate party before heading to Ryan Field for the game. The MSIT Alumni were upbeat and enjoyed the day, especially since Northwestern's Wildcats won in an amazing 26-point comeback win against Indiana's Hoosiers.

Welcome Back Event, September 13, 2009
On Sunday, September 13, 2009 the MSIT welcomed new and returning students back to school. Forty students, staff, and family members gathered for an afternoon of food, drinks and fun at Dave and Buster's in Chicago, IL!

Orientation, September 12, 2009
On September 12, 2009, the MSIT welcomed the Class of 2011! Twenty-three new students mingled during a continental breakfast, followed by presentations by MSIT Director, Abraham Haddad, Board/Faculty Members and Associate Director, Trista Wdziekonski. The students learned what to expect in the next 2 years, and how the program will work for them in the future.

Road Rally, July 18, 2009
July 18, 2009 marked the 2nd Annual MSIT Road Rally. Twelve students, alumni, staff, and family members set-off from the starting point (the parking lot across from Tech in Evanston). Each challenging
clue solved provided another set of directions that led to the final destination approximately 50
miles away. The end point this year was at the General Lee, housed in the famed Volo Auto Museum in Volo, IL. It was beautiful weather day (finally!) and everyone had a great time.

Graduation, June 19, 2009
On June 19, 2009, the MSIT graduated its twelfth class of IT professionals in Northwestern's Technological Institute. The ceremony featured a Salutation by McCormick's Dean Julio Ottino and a Graduation Address by James C. Kenny, Executive Vice President of Kenny Construction and Former U.S. Ambassador to Ireland.
