Industry Advisory Board
In 1998, an Industry Advisory Board was created to help guide the future direction of the M.S. in Information Technology program. Its goals were, and continue to be, to:
• Ensure that the MSIT continues to address industry needs
• Review our curriculum and courses for relevance and meaning
• Help us develop and implement strategic plans
• Assist in program promotion, marketing, and recruitment
Today, our advisory board consists of fourteen industry leaders from industry sectors such as health care, banking, and telecommunications, in addition to five members of the MSIT board of directors. Through bi-annual meetings and regular correspondence, the members help ensure the continued success of the MSIT.
