Mural in Tech Building, 2001
The MSIT Class of 2001 donated a mural to the McCormick School. The mural, which is located outside of Lecture Room 3 in the Technological Institute, was painted by Keith Norman, an artist from New York City. Here are some pictures that we took while Keith was on-site painting the mural.

Day 1: Monday, October 15, 2001
10 AM - Setting up...........

1 PM - Painting the mural background green!!

Day 2: Tuesday, October 16, 2001
10 AM - More lines!

Noon - Keith being interviewed by a reporter from The Daily Northwestern!
5 PM - Another day ended. Why blue? We'll explain later.

Noon - See the red? Again, more students watching Keith create!!

3:30 PM - getting close.......Keith is smiling - almost finished! There's paint on his coveralls!


Day 10, October 25, 2001
At approximately 3PM CDT, Keith Norman finished his mural. The Norman mural, which was commissioned by the MSIT Class of 2001, will be a permanent display in Northwestern's Technological Institute.

The MSIT Class of 2001 dedicated their Mural to the MSIT and Northwestern University on Saturday, April 6, 2002. MSIT Director, Abraham Haddad accepted the gift on behalf of the program. In attendance were 22 MSIT Alums and their families, along with the present MSIT students. After the dedication, everyone joined faculty, staff and present students for a lavish lunch in Northwestern's Allen Center. The day turned out beautifully as the following pictures show:
