News and Events: Class of 2007 Orientation
On September 17, 2005, the MSIT welcomed the Class of 2007! Twenty-four new MSIT students mingled during a continental breakfast, followed by presentations by MSIT Director, Abraham Haddad and MSIT Associate Director, Erin Perez. The students learned what to expect in the next 2 years, and how the program will work for them in the future. The students broke out into study groups and presented their groups to the class.
The new students, joined by faculty, alumni and staff, enjoyed a lavish lunch in the Allen Center's Atrium.
After lunch, the afternoon session consisted of a welcome to the program by MSIT Alumni Association member, Allison Park (MSIT 2003), another break out session, and a campus tour which included family members, led by Assistant Program Manager, George Nejmeh.
The break out session was led by MSIT students and alumni. Included are Lisa Statland (MSIT 2006), Brett Bernstein (MSIT 2001), Jim Deane (MSIT 2003), Bryce White (MSIT 2005), and Aaron Ballew (MSIT 2005).
Here are some pictures from the September 17th orientation.
