News and Event: Homecoming 2006
Class of 2008 Orientation
On September 16, 2006, the MSIT welcomed the Class of 2008! Twenty-seven new MSIT students mingled during a continental breakfast, followed by presentations by MSIT Board/Faculty Member, Chung-Chieh Lee and MSIT Associate Director, Erin Perez. The students learned what to expect in the next 2 years, and how the program will work for them in the future. The students broke out into study groups and presented their groups to the class.
The new students, joined by faculty, alumni and staff, enjoyed a lavish lunch in the Allen Center's Atrium.
After lunch, the afternoon session consisted of a welcome to the program by MSIT Alumni Association member, Rich Harris (MSIT 2001), another break out session, and a campus tour which included family members, led by Assistant Program Manager, George Nejmeh.
The break out session was led by MSIT students and alumni: Ron Widitz (MSIT 2007), Joseph Nettikaden (MSIT 2002), Scott Brown (MSIT 2006), Bryan Murray (MSIT 2003), and Aaron Ballew (MSIT 2005).
Here are some pictures from the September 16th orientation.
